BTI's Optima Check Valve offers optimum performance, air flow

Jun 1, 2012 12:00 PM

Optima is Bulk Tank Incorporated's new and improved American made check valve for pneumatic systems. According to BTI engineers, previous to Optima, check valves were heavy, flow restrictive, and caused a constant risk of load contamination. BTI's Optima Check Valve offers solutions to all these problems. Fewer parts and smarter construction allows for a lightweight valve. A unique bell design, conical poppet and fewer supports allow for increased airflow and no turbulence. Optima's spring housing and guide bushings make load contamination virtually impossible.

The coil spring, which provides over twice the cycling as conventional torsion springs, is fully enclosed. If the spring ever fails there is no risk of contamination to the product being conveyed. The conical poppet used in the Optima provides a smooth airflow stream. The bell shaped housing and conical poppet result in less back pressure and turbulence than conventional torsion spring or lift check valves on the market today.

100% American made, the new Optima Check Valve will be available in June 2012 and will be offered in 3- and 4-inch sizes. The Optima Check Valve is another example of BTI's innovative product design. As with all of its products, Bulk Tank Inc unconditionally guarantees this check valve will outperform any similar product on the market today.
