Blackmer bypass valves earn UL approval

Blackmer announced that the company received UL listing approval June 1, 2012, to provide BV¾ and BV1 bypass valves with a high-pressure spring option.
The high-pressure spring option is rated to 200 psi (13.8 bar) and designed for use with Blackmer’s LGL150 Series pumps in any application requiring high-pressure system protection, such as auto-gas dispenser installations.
The BV¾ and BV1 valves are smaller than typical bypass valves, which allows for use of smaller-diameter piping. The smaller piping will better match actual pump flow rates, resulting in increased efficiency and lower operating costs. BV¾ and BV1 valves are designed for use in any high-pressure application.
