Willis Power Systems Inc (WPS) announced the introduction of a compact APU (auxiliary power unit) that has been specifically engineered to allow fleets and owner-operators to meet the complex operating and regulatory environment facing the trucking industry.

WPS has begun manufacturing the versatile, lightweight Willie APU, which will be initially sold and distributed through its current and expanding dealer network that includes The Larson Group as well as various Rush Truck Centers and Hunter Truck Sales locations.

The Willie APU offers up to 50% more engine power, and its compact and lightweight design allows for easy installation of a closed-loop cooling (CLC) system.
