The Pump Solutions Group (PSG), a member of the New York-based Dover Corporation's Fluid Management market segment and part of its Fluid Solutions platform, has announced that, effective May 24, Greg Aschman is PSG's new vice-president-chief financial officer. He most recently working for Alcoa as controller for its Global Primary Products business, and director of worldwide investor relations and finance director for the Building and Construction Systems business at the company's Geneva, Switzerland, headquarters. Aschman, who will be based at PSG's corporate headquarters in Downers Grove IL, will report to PSG President Dean Douglas.

Eaton Corporation has named Paolo Baretta director and controller-Vehicle Group for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and he will be located in Turin, Italy. Baretta joins Eaton from Isola Group Sarl, where he was most recently the European vice-president of finance. Nanda Kumar has been named president-EMEA for the Vehicle Group, effective July 1, and he also will be based in Turin. He succeeds Joao Faria, who was named regional president-Americas, for Eaton's Hydraulics Group. Kumar previously served in the firm's automotive business as plant manager for facilities in Roxboro NC and Massa, Italy, and general manager for the valve and valve actuation business. Howard Liu has been named president-Asia Pacific for the Vehicle Group, effective July 1, and will be based in Shanghai, China. He succeeds Dave Bennett, who will return to the United States to a new Eaton position. Liu joined the firm in 2006 as general manager-hydraulics operations, greater China for the Hydraulics Group.

TMW Systems announced the appointment of Ray West as vice-president and general manager of its Nashville TN-based Innovative software business. West, a 20-year veteran of the transportation software industry, was most recently vice-president of product management and general manager of the TL2000 business, based in Indianapolis IN. He will succeed Debbie Betancourt as general manager with Innovative.

Horton Inc has appointed Geert Henk Touw as interim president and chief executive officer. Touw, who has served on Horton's board of directors for more than two years, previously was senior vice-president-Asia Pacific, and managing director, vice-president, and general manager Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Donaldson Company Inc.

FuelQuest Inc has added Paul Stone, chairman of Shell Turcas Petrol AS, to its advisory board. Stone's experience within the oil products industry includes retail, commercial, lubricants, and supply & distribution. In his 32 years at Shell, Stone managed business expansion into nations such as Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine. He is also an active member of the Energy Institute.

Remy Inc has named Britt Caple national fleet manager responsible for target fleet accounts in the southeastern United States. Caple previously served 21 years with Fontaine International, most recently as a key account manager. Joe Dyer has been named Remy's regional sales and service manager for the southeastern states. He joins the firm after a 25-year career at Daimler Trucks North America in fleet and dealer sales.

GE Capital Fleet Services has appointed Jon Parker as senior vice-president of sales. Parker is taking over the sales leadership role from Deb Frodl, who was recently named chief strategic and product development leader. Most recently, Parker served as chief commercial officer for GE Capital Financial Inc.
