Polar Tank Trailer has named Jeff Behrens director of purchasing

Polar Tank Trailer has named Jeff Behrens director of purchasing. Based in Opole MN, he is responsible for procurement and logistics for the company's three manufacturing plants. Previously, Behrens was division controller for Polar Service Centers and was controller for Polar Tank Trailer from 1997 to 2011. Polar Tank Trailer has hired Jim Bach as director of materials, responsible for planning, master scheduling, and inventory optimization for the company's manufacturing operations in Opole and Holdingford MN. Bach spent nearly 17 years in senior management positions focused on forecasting, demand planning, materials handling, distribution, and quality within the medical device industry.

Polar Service Centers has hired Rick Jech as division controller. He reports to Mike Evans, president of Polar Service Centers. Prior to his new role, Jech was senior director of finance at McNeilus Companies, a division of Oshkosh Corporation. He replaces Jeff Behrens, who was named director of purchasing at Polar Tank Trailer.

Navistar International Corporation announced the appointment of Dennis “Denny” Mooney as group vice-president, global product development. He succeeds Ramin Younessi, who is leaving Navistar to pursue other opportunities. Mooney joined Navistar in 2009 as vice-president, global product development.

The OEM Business Unit of Webb Wheel Products has expanded its sales organization. Chad Plank has accepted the role as executive vice-president sales and marketing, and Jim LeClaire joins as account executive-fleet accounts. Plank comes to the OEM Business Unit after spending seven years within the Marmon Group of Companies, of which Webb is a part. Most recently, he was general manager of Perfection Clutch. LeClaire is a long-time active member the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) of the American Trucking Associations. He previously spent more than 16 years with Horton Inc, most recently as western regional sales manager. The Aftermarket Business Unit of Webb has hired Vernon Pruitt to fill the new position of director of fleet business development. He joins Webb after spending more than two decades with Navistar International, most recently as director of sales for UpTime Parts.

Eaton announced that Dave Karnes has been named director-Roadranger field sales and marketing North American Truck, reporting to Tim Sinden, president-North America Truck Operations. Karnes most recently served as sales manager on the Navistar and Caterpillar accounts. He will continue to be based in Galesburg MI.

Phillips Industries has hired Scott Storie as a new territory sales manager. Storie will cover Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. He joins Phillips Industries from American Packing and Gaskets (APG), a Houston TX-based manufacturer of industrial products, where he held the position of central region sales manager.

Elemica announced that Sanjiv Bhatia has joined the company as vice-president and head of global professional services. Previously managing director at BearingPoint, Bhatia has more than 20 years of consulting experience that includes supply chain management, ERP systems, ecommerce, business intelligence, and operations strategy.
