Zack Coley has rejoined Heil Trailer International Co as its vice-president-sales and marketing, North America. With more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, he will report directly to Randall Swift, the president and chief executive officer of Heil Trailer.

OPW Fueling Components, a Dover company, has named Steve Stewart as OPW Canada sales manager, a newly created position. Before joining OPW in 2011, he was business development manager-Canada for Dresser Wayne. OPW Fueling Components also named Ed Kammerer western regional sales manager. Based in Cincinnati OH, he is responsible for Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and all states west of the Mississippi River except Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Kammerer has 19 years of petroleum industry experience, 14 of which were with OPW as a district manager in the Midwest territory. Both Stewart and Kammerer will report directly to Keith Moye, OPW vice-president, sales and marketing.

Polar Corporation named Chris Dietemann president of Quality Trailer Products. He succeeds Jim Painter, who has been appointed president of Polar Tank Trailer. Dietemann has been general manager of the company's Rockwell American leaf spring manufacturing business in Seagoville TX since December 2010. He will be based at Quality Trailer Products headquarters in Azle TX. Painter will be based at Polar Tank Trailer's headquarters in Opole MN and report to Ted Fick, Polar Corp president and chief executive officer. Polar Corp has named Randy Arlt vice-president of sales and marketing for Polar Tank Trailer. Arlt previously was vice-president of business development for Polar Corp and served as president of Polar Tank Trailer from April 2003 to March 2011.

Robert E Sanchez has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of Ryder System Inc. He will continue to report to Gregory Swienton, Ryder chairman and chief executive officer, and the business segment presidents of both Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) and Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) will now report to Sanchez. Dennis C Cooke has been promoted to president of FMS.

IDEX Corporation has promoted Brett Finley to vice-president, group executive of the Fluid and Metering Technologies Segment. He currently serves as president of the Chemical, Food, and Process Platform, the largest group within the Fluid and Metering Segment. Finley is replacing Kevin G Hostetler, who resigned as an officer effective February 14, 2012. In order to ensure an orderly transition, Hostetler will remain with IDEX until April 8, 2012.

Xata Corporation announced that Scott Meyer has been promoted from senior vice-president, marketing to chief marketing and strategy officer, and Steve Chamberlain has been hired as executive vice-president, field operations. Both report to Jay Coughlan, chief executive officer. Chamberlain comes from Ecova, where he was senior vice-president, sales and client management.

Firestone Industrial Products (FSIP) announced changes to its global leadership structure. Piotr Bogaczyski will become managing director of FSIP Europe. He managed FSIP's Wolsztyn, Poland, facility for eight years before completing a special assignment to launch a manufacturing unit in China in 2011. Dan Leonard will take the newly created position of FSIP global business development manager based in Carmel IN. He has served as managing director of FSIP Europe for the past four years.

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC announced that Mark McCollough was named vice-president and general manager for the Charging business. McCollough, who joined Bendix in 2004, previously served as product line director for Air Treatment.

Attorneys John W Greene and John P Dimitry are joining the national transportation law firm of Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary as the firm opens its ninth office nationwide in Dallas/Fort Worth TX. Greene has been practicing law since 1985 and serves as general counsel for the Texas Motor Transportation Association (TMTA). Dimitry has served the past 13 years as inside counsel to US domestic and global logistics providers, including most recently DHL.
