Suppliers SAF-Holland SA has appointed Alexander Geis president of its Aftermarket Business Unit

SAF-Holland SA has appointed Alexander Geis president of its Aftermarket Business Unit. In addition to this role, Geis will serve as a deputy member of the company's Management Board. Geis will also continue to serve in his current position as vice-president for aftermarket sales and marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Dan Millar will take on additional responsibilities as vice-president of the Americas, Pacific, and Asia Aftermarket Business Unit. He also will be responsible for all other aftermarket-related activities such as purchasing, scheduling, warehousing, and logistics.

Pressure Systems International has chosen Rosemary Baca as the first recipient of the first Carl Tapp Award. Baca, a cell leader on the control box line, was recognized for her dedication, in the face of some challenges, to the PSI mission of commitment to customers, integrity, accountability, and results. She has been with PSI since 2006. The award was named for Carl Tapp, vice-president of maintenance at PAM Transport.

Steve Williams, chairman and chief executive officer of Maverick USA Inc, has been appointed chairman of the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), the trucking industry's not-for-profit research organization. He succeeds Doug Duncan, president and CEO of FedEx Freight.
