Three aftermarket customers of Meritor have been recognized in a national “Drive to 100 Store Décor” contest to improve retail store showroom décor. The 47 entries—submitted by warehouse distributors and OE dealers over the promotion’s 90-day period—were judged on four criteria: prominence, creativity, impact of initiative, and appropriateness.

Winners were: Colton Truck Supply (Brent Heller), Montrose CO; Total Truck Parts (Dennis Imbody), Fort Myers FL; and Tracey Freightliner (Neil Kessler), East Syracuse NY. Contestants submitted photographs and a brief description of their efforts and rationale.

“Congratulations to all our customers who entered the contest,” said Terry Livingston, general manager-North America, Aftermarket, Meritor. “It was a fun activity, and we were impressed with the entrants. All were quite energized to shape up their retail storefront, many in their off-hours. We’re very grateful to recognize such loyal customers who go the extra mile in supplying end-users with quality service and replacement parts.”

“Our entire crew of people had fun pulling it together, and our Meritor display looked very cool and will stay up in our showroom for a month or so,” said Tom Gibson, Total Truck Parts. The distributor’s detailed display included all the Meritor product groups arranged creatively.
