Third-party logistics provider, LeSaint Logistics, announces the asset acquisition of Chemical Logistics Inc, a 3PL specialist in warehousing and distribution of hazmat and non-hazmat chemicals. The Chemical Logistics acquisition makes LeSaint a much bigger and more diverse player in the chemical logistics sector.

Says LeSaint president, Jeff Pennington, "We're very excited for both our existing and new customers. Expansion into Dallas TX and Portland OR--where Chemical Logistics has been providing warehousing, value-added services and both local and long-haul transportation--enables us to offer our superior service and expertise in the special handling of chemicals that manufacturers and distributors in those markets demand. It also expands LeSaint's overall footprint of hazmat facilities on a national level."

Having worked together for the past four years, both LeSaint and Chemical Logistics recognized they had good chemistry, which made the acquisition a good fit into the LeSaint organization. Most importantly for LeSaint, Chemical Logistics places the same value on "Taking Care of the Customer" that is at the heart of the LeSaint brand.

Steve Senior, president and co-owner of Chemical Logistics says: "We are very excited about the acquisition. Our customers will obtain the immediate benefit of LeSaint's expanded geography, extensive technology and overall extended service offering, while our employees will have the opportunity to expand with a much larger organization."

The two new facilities will operate under the name of LeSaint Chemical Logistics and will be an integral part of LeSaint's supply chain offerings.

As a Top 100 3PL provider, LeSaint delivers intelligent warehousing, fulfillment, and transportation solutions that provide continuous process improvements to boost the customer's bottom line. With 19 facilities nationwide, LeSaint focuses on the retail, chemical, and manufacturing industries.
