Horton, Concepts NREC reach settlement

Horton Inc has reached an agreement to settle its pending litigation against Concepts NREC, which involved claims of infringement of US Patent #5,611,415;

Horton Inc has reached an agreement to settle its pending litigation against Concepts NREC, which involved claims of infringement of US Patent #5,611,415; #5,636,719; and #6,838,796 for Concepts' sales of two-speed clutches and add-on kits that incorporate an eddy current drive used in conjunction with a pneumatic on/off fan clutch.

Concepts has agreed to discontinue its sales of these products. Complete terms of the settlement agreement are confidential.

Horton initiated patent infringement litigation against Kit Masters Inc and Concepts NREC in 2008, seeking damages and injunctions against both companies. Litigation remains ongoing against Kit Masters.
