GPS International Technologies Inc (GPSit) has named Guibor Promoter SA of CV as its distributor in Mexico for GPSit’s covert GPS tracking systems and services, which are immediately available to companies moving high-value assets throughout Mexico.

Highly accurate and dependable asset tracking in Mexico is a key concern for many businesses that desire to track their high-value goods and improve loss prevention initiatives.
Cargo tracking is enabled by Trackfusion, a web-based application that provides real-time visibility of goods in transit. Utilizing Qualcomm’s gpsOne position location technology available on CDMA networks, tracking devices can obtain a position fix even when embedded within a shipment in the back of a closed trailer. Advanced features such as photo sensors to detect the presence of light and vibration sensors to detect movement extend tracking device battery life. These technology improvements have expanded the scope of asset tracking opportunities in Mexico.

Service available in Mexico is enabled by GPSit’s cellular services partner IUSACELL. Its CDMA data network provides the location and data services that enable the highly accurate A-GPS locates of GPSit’s FS1 family of covert tracking devices.
