Blackmer will be exhibiting at the upcoming International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) 31st annual International Operating Conference and Trade Show in Booth 333. The ILTA show, which annually brings together more than 3,000 professionals from the worldwide bulk liquid terminal industry, will be held June 6-8, 2011, at the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston TX.

Blackmer will feature its sliding vane pumps designed to handle an array of industrial liquids, chemicals, solvents, animal and vegetable oils, and petroleum products most common to liquid terminal storage facilities. Blackmer vane pumps are designed for high-capacity transfer, top or bottom loading/unloading and blending at the rack, or for barge, ship, UST, and terminal transfers. Using Blackmer's sliding vane design, these positive displacement rotary pumps offer sustained high-level performance, energy efficiency, trouble-free operation, and low maintenance cost. On display at the ILTA show will be the GX, STX, TXD, and ML models of sliding vane pumps, as well as Blackmer's System One centrifugal pumps.

The company will also showcase its HD Series compressors designed to handle transfer and vapor recovery of carbon dioxide, refrigerants, sulphur dioxide, chlorine, vinyl chlorine, nitrogen, and other gases common in terminal applications. The vapor recovery aspect of this application captures vapors before they are released into the environment, allowing terminals to be more environmentally responsible while ensuring complete product transfer.
