    Gemini Motor Transport is NTTC’s first North American safety champion in the new private-fleet division. Gemini previously claimed a Heil trophy as a for-hire carrier but 80% of its business is in serving Love’s Travel Stops.

    Harmac Transportation, part of the Canada-based Seaboard group, won its first Heil trophy by putting safety first in everything the company does.

    Seen together, Tandet Logistics’ two Heil trophies look like bookends, which is only appropriate since it’s the first tank truck carrier to win in both for-hire categories.

    After winning the Heil Trophy, the Lacy’s Express team decided they needed a place to display it and their many other NTTC awards. The new 100-ft.-by-50-ft. building also boasts 25 Grand awards, 20 personnel safety awards, 20 safety improvement awards, and six Honor awards.
