MAC Trailer took a moment on March 18 to honor its military service members and to remember the sacrifices they have made, their achievements, their courage, and their dedication, and to say thank you for their sacrifices. Approximately 50 company employees were honored at the Alliance, Ohio plant.
“Thinking of the heroes who joined us in this group today and those who are here only in spirit, a person can’t help but feel awed by the enormity of what we encounter,” Don Hayes, general manager for the Alliance Facility. “We stand in the midst of patriots and the family and friends of those who have nobly served.”
Many MAC Trailer service veterans lined up proudly by a newly designed, Patriotic Dump Trailer that was on display at the Mid-America Trucking Show March 27-29 in Louisville, Kentucky.
The new owners of this elite trailer known as “Team Elmer’s,” have really outdone themselves with the mesmerizing Stars and Stripes design that quotes many sayings from past veterans and Presidents on both sides. MAC Trailer is Proud to have built such a work of art for them.
The service members honored came from all walks of life, but they shared several fundamental qualities. They possessed courage, pride, determination, selflessness, dedication to duty and integrity—all the qualities needed to serve a cause larger than one’s self. MAC Trailer is truly fortunate to have them as employees and hope as our hiring continues at all locations that we may bring in more veterans and non-veterans to our team.
