Open since mid-2009, West-Mark's new service center in Fairbanks AK can handle a full range of cargo tank repairs and modifications. The service center also offers parts sales.

Eight mechanics work in the four-bay, 12,000-sq-ft shop, which has an ASME “R” stamp and 3A foodgrade tank repair stamp. The operation is under the direction of Scott Vincent, West-Mark chief operating officer, and Wayne Walker, service manager, who previously held the same position at West-Mark's Ceres CA plant. Vincent has sold West-Mark equipment in Alaska since 1989.

The building housing the West-Mark service center previously served as the Western Star dealer location in Fairbanks.
