Tremcar manufactures aviation refuelers

The Tremcar Aviation Refueler is designed for efficient safe aircraft fueling and defueling at airports where underground hydrant system is not in use. The refueler incorporates the latest technology, using industry-standard components.

Founded in 1918, the company has always worked within the transportation sector. For the past 70 years the company has specialized in tank truck and tank trailer manufacturing for the petroleum industry. Today Tremcar is a supplier to most Canadian major oil companies, common carriers, independent dealers, and the Department of National Defense. In the past 30 years Tremcar have added a long list of satisfied American customers as well as in other countries.

Tremcar’s Speciality Vehicle Department is well known for quality aviation refueling units and has been involved in many technological developments in the aviation field. A well-equipped service department handles all servicing requirements for Tremcar cargo tanks and general service work. Tremcar Industries is designated by Measurement Canada, as an inspector to carry out inspections pursuant to the Weights and Measures Act, to inspect and certify devices in the liquid petroleum trade sector, including aviation refuelers as well as devices in other trade sectors. Tremcar refuelers meet the stringent requirements of both the Canadian and US Departments of Transportation, as well as being built to the pertinent FAA, ASME, SAE, API, NFPA, and NTTC Requirements and Recommended Practices.

Tremcar’s London ON, Canada, facility specializes in Aviation Refuelers and equipment. Currently Tremcar is completing a fleet of 26 aviation refuelers for the Canadian Department of National Defense at this facility. The plant is registered with all pertinent regulatory agencies.
