Trail King Industries Inc, a leading manufacturer of open deck and dry bulk trailers, recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Mitchell SD and West Fargo ND operations.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard, published by the International Organization for Standardization, is an international reference for quality management requirements and continuous improvement of business-to-business interactions.
"This is a significant achievement for Trail King… one which reflects our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.” said Bruce Yakley, president of Trail King. "To earn this certification required the combined efforts of everyone here at Trail King, and I am proud of our entire team for their dedication to achieving this important goal.
“Our next step is to also earn ISO 9001:2008 certification for our Yankton SD operation (formerly, Dakota Trailer Manufacturing), which we recently acquired in May of this year.”
