Phillips LITE-Sentry helps fleets avoid CSA penalties

March 24, 2015

Phillips Industries latest product innovation for trailer chassis, LITE-SENTRY, can eliminate CSA violations for non-working exterior trailer lights.

One of the most common violations vehicle operators are charged with during road-side inspections is for faulty trailer lights.  With LITE-SENTRY, drivers know instantly when a trailer light or connection has failed, before it’s caught by CSA inspectors.  The LITE-SENTRY monitors the exterior trailer lighting for failures and notifies the driver by an indicator light mounted on the front of the trailer so a repair can be made.

LITE-SENTRY is integrated and completely sealed into a Phillips STA-DRY electrical harness and is designed to work with all 12-Volt LED exterior trailer lighting that draws more than 19 milliamps. The current patent-pending LITE-SENTRY™ is for chassis only.
