OPW Engineered Systems, a division of OPW Fluid Transfer Group, has released the new and improved Kamvalok dry disconnect coupler. Used at liquid transfer points where product loss could occur, the Kamvalok provides a reliable solution to prevent spillage during connection or disconnection.

The Kamvalok coupler is ideal in liquid transfer applications involving various chemicals such as petroleum products, solvents, paint, lacquers, inks, adhesives, fatty acids, pharmaceuticals, soaps, detergents, ag-chemicals, caustics, and many acids.

The new Kamvalok coupler features stainless steel Autolok locking arms and a stainless steel locking handle, that secures both the opened and closed positions to prevent accidental release or uncoupling. Autolok locking arms provide added protection with an automatic locking mechanism signaled by a positive click; uncoupling requires an easy tug on the lock release. The poppeted seal cylinder design, equipped with an easily replaceable snap-on nose seal, offers dual protection and automatic closure from both the coupler and adaptor.

The Kamvalok coupler is available in aluminum and stainless steel, sizes 1½", 2", and 3", with a variety of seal options.
