David H Brenner, 85, died May 24, 2010, at his home. Former chairman of Brenner Tank Inc, he was one of the pioneers in cargo tank design and manufacturing.

David H Brenner, 85, died May 24, 2010, at his home. Former chairman of Brenner Tank Inc, he was one of the pioneers in cargo tank design and manufacturing.

Brenner started working for the then Jacob Brenner Company in Fond du Lac WI in January of 1950. He was in the heating and air conditioning department, and later when the company name was changed to Brenner Tank Inc became the regional sales manager for 10 US western states and British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. Over the years, he served as president, chief executive officer, and chairman of the board at Brenner Tank, which had nine manufacturing operations, a corporate finance operation, and royalty arrangements in Australia. He was the Brenner Tank representative for the Dairy Equipment Manufacturer Association and National Tank Truck Carriers.

He retired in February of 1990 but continued to work for Brenner Tank as regional sales manager for the intermountain area of Idaho, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. He fully retired in June 2004, after 55 years at Brenner Tank.
