Grote Industries has expanded product offerings with the introduction of a variety of new products: Hi Count LED (light emitting diode) signal lamps; SuperNova round and oval LED stop, tail, turn lamps; SuperNova LED single-diode back-up lamps; and Per-Lux LED (light emitting diodes) WhiteLight work lamps.

With the addition of clear lens red and yellow products, Grote's Hi Count LED line has a full portfolio of lighting options. The new lamps include round and oval stop, tail, turn lamps; LED square corner lamps; LED 2-inch, 2 ½-inch, and rectangular marker lamps; LED box lamp with side marker in red and yellow for right or left mounting configuration; and LED round and square double face lamp in red and yellow.

Hi Count LED lamps are designed for quick “plug-and-go” retrofit by utilizing standard incandescent wire termination and are interchangeable with either traditional incandescent or newer LED technology.

SuperNova line

The SuperNova lamp line is intended “for fleets desiring to upgrade from incandescent lights to LEDs,” said Steve Green, Grote's business development manager for signal lighting. “It's a more cost-effective option than has ever been available before.”

New to the line are 4-inch round and 6-inch oval LED stop, tail, and turn lamps.

SuperNova LED technology offers increased brightness and efficiency and longer life. The lamps have impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses.

Grote's new SuperNova LED single diode back-up lamp “is a more reliable and advanced back-up lamp featuring high output LEDs to provide the best light output, rivaling multi-diode versions,” Green said.

The lamps are fully encapsulated in a specially formulated potting that provides thermal protection, as well as corrosion, shock, and moisture resistance.

Unlike other low-cost alternatives, Grote's Hi Count LED and SuperNova lamps meet all FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) and SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) requirements for visibility and safety.

Work lamp

The introduction of the new Per-Lux LED WhiteLight work lamp is a first for Grote's Per-Lux brand, noted the company business development manager for forward lighting Mike Grote. “Per-Lux is a legendary brand that, until now, only offered lamps in incandescents.

“The state-of-the-art LED WhiteLight technology allows the Per-Lux work lamp to outshine all incandescent and halogen competitors,” he said. “The instant-on nature of its LEDs is more durable and energy efficient, with less than an amp of power consumption.”

WhiteLight LED lights use advanced optics and spectral technology to deliver a bright, but pleasant and soothing light that reduces stress and provides optimum viewing comfort.

The Per-Lux Work Lamp features a glass lens with a chemical- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel housing. A side screw adjusts the lens tilt for optimal beam pattern evenness. All component parts are completely replaceable.

The lamp comes in spot, flood, and trapezoid lens configurations.
