President Obama unveils heavy-duty truck fuel efficiency rulesAug 10, 2011 10:46 AM Trucking industry groups voiced general support for the fuel efficiency standards for heavy-duty trucks and other commercial vehicles that were announced August 9 by the Obama Administration. The proposed standards were jointly developed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
