Vos Logistics, Oss, the Netherlands, has signed a contract for delivery of 560 Scania tractors from the Dutch distributor Beers Bedrijfsauto bv. In addition, repair and maintenance contracts have been signed for all of the trucks.

The agreement with Vos Logistics is Beers’ largest single order to date, according to Scania information.

The majority of the trucks are two-axle tractor units with sleeper cabs fitted with Scania's 420-horsepower, 12-litre engines (Scania R124 Topline).

European petrochemical companies are Vos' primary customers, but the carrier has a long established relationship with traders and industrial users of different kinds of plastic in bulk. Foodgrade products are also handled by the company.
