Vigillo LLC, creators of data mining software products designed to aggregate, organize, and deliver fleet safety information in an easy-to-read scorecard format, announced that more than a half-million drivers at 1,300-plus carriers, are being scored by its CSA 2010 Carrier & Driver Scorecard.

“When the FMCSA released its CSA 2010 Data Preview product on April 12 we thought our sales trajectory might slow down,” said Steve Bryan, president of Vigillo. “But just the opposite has happened. The carriers are rapidly realizing that even with access to the FMCSA’s information they need more than just the raw data provided.”

The Vigillo Carrier & Driver Scorecard provides trucking companies with an advance look at the fleet safety data that will be included when CSA 2010 replaces FMCSA’s SafeStat program in November. Using the same algorithms and methodologies as FMCSA, the Vigillo offering allows carriers to use data available today to see what their operations will look like under CSA 2010.

“Our growth and the adoption of our CSA 2010 platform by large national trucking companies, small regional carriers, and private fleets is a result of our ability to anticipate the needs of motor carriers and their drivers,” Bryan said. “We anticipate having a million drivers using our products by year-end.”
