The Methanol Institute (MI) has produced a video titled Methanol Safe Handling: A User's Guide that is now provided as a free DVD. This video is also available on YouTube.com and the MI's website at www.methanol.org. It highlights the key safety procedures to ensure methanol is properly transported, stored, and utilized.

The 13-minute production includes interviews with experts from the US Chemical Safety Board, International Association of Fire Chiefs, Water Environment Federation, National Biodiesel Board, and the DC Water and Sewer Authority.

Free copies of the DVD video may be requested from the MI website. The DVD version comes with document files including the Methanol Institute's Methanol Safe Handling Manual and Crisis Communications Guidebook. These documents are also provided in Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, and Arabic.
