The Trimac Group's United States Chemical Division has successfully implemented a Transflo document management and workflow system and Transflo Express truckstop scanning system from Pegasus TransTech.

The Trimac Group of companies provides highway transportation of bulk commodities throughout North America. Its US Chemical Division operates more than 1,000 trucks and 1,500 trailers.

Trimac executives say the system is already delivering significant, measurable results, including accelerated cash flow, reduced DSO, streamlined back-office processes and faster pay for drivers.

“Since our implementation with Pegasus, we've not only been able to pay our drivers faster, but we've lowered our courier costs and accelerated invoicing after delivery,” said John Jansen, director of pricing, Trimac US Chemical Division. “Prior to choosing Pegasus, we looked at what was available in the market. The Pegasus imaging solution best supported our billing model. The system allows us to bill our customers from any of our regional centers within minutes of receiving scanned images. The invoices can also be printed, e-mailed and retrieved from any location.”
