Trimac Transportation United States has acquired the assets of KFJ Trucking, a Cleveland UT-based transportation company focused on coal transport in Utah. The acquisition will strengthen Trimac's coal-hauling business and will create significant new growth opportunities for the company.

KFJ Trucking operates 33 power units and 40 trailer sets, with revenues of more than $13 million in 2006. Most of the 58 drivers and office personnel employed by KFJ will become Trimac employees. This acquisition closed April 2, 2007.

Trimac Equipment Leasing Inc, the holding company for Trimac's US trucking operations, has acquired the approximate 26% minority interest of Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board in Trimac's US operations. The McCaig Family and Co management now hold 100% of the equity in Trimac's US operations.
