TMI of Denver, Colorado, has formed a partnership with TMW Systems of Cleveland, Ohio, according to information from TMI.

The companies collaborated to develop the first TMW-supported data interface for imaging deployed for their mutual client, Florida Express Carriers. Research and development has continued since February 2001, extending capabilities as demand for outsourcing overnight scanning and fully integrated software increases.

Tom Weisz, president and chief executive officer of TMW Systems, recognizes the increasing benefits carriers can derive from an integrated imaging system.

“We partnered with TMI to help our clients leverage the power of outsourcing and an effective option for going paperless with reliable data,” said Weisz. “Our customers demand ease of use, integration, and configurability in all their technologies.”

TripPak ONLINE provides an end-to-end solution for imaging revenue documents and a means to go paperless while still meeting shipper demands for proof of delivery and related paper work. TMI stores and can retrieve any paper document, a key program feature, while the commercial scanning operation works overnight to capture an image of every trip document.

TripPak ONLINE certifies electronic documents, as a witness to the fact that each watermarked image is an original document. The images drive invoicing, payroll processes, and other functions in an optimized workflow environment developed by TMI and now integrated with TMW applications.
