The 14th annual Southern Bulk Carriers Day at the Sam Houston Race Park, Houston TX, attracted more than 2,500 people, including tank truck carriers, shippers, and allied industry representatives. Winners in the carrier exhibition included: aluminum category, Exxon Mobil Corp; antique trucks, Bealine Service Co Inc; dry bulk pneumatic, A&R Transport Inc, CBSL Transportation Services Inc, Quality Carriers Inc, and Tiona Truck Line Inc; pressure vessels, Enterprise Transportation Co and Martin Transport Inc; rolloff, Bealine Service Co Inc; stainless steel chemical, Groendyke Transport Inc, Service Transport Inc, Slay Transportation Co Inc, Superior Carriers Inc, and Trimac Transportation Inc; stainless steel, foodgrade, Foodliner Inc; tank containers, intermodal, Slay Transportation Co Inc; and vacuum tanks, Bealine Service Co Inc.

Great weather contributed to the good turnout at the annual Southern Bulk Carriers Day that drew a lineup of the tank truck industry's finest tractors and trailers and solid representation from the industry's suppliers.
