Alcoa Wheel Products has named Samantha Gerhardt account manager and relocated her to Portland OR to focus on OEM commercial vehicle business in the region.

Alcoa Wheel Products has named Samantha Gerhardt account manager and relocated her to Portland OR to focus on OEM commercial vehicle business in the region. She worked most recently in the southeastern United States. Merrick Murphy has also been named account manager and has been relocated to North Carolina to focus on that region. Murphy previously served Alcoa as a market manager for commercial vehicle wheels.

Nissan Diesel America (NDA) has promoted Kent Thompson to national sales training manager. He was formerly district manager in NDA's Capitol District, composed of North and South Carolina, eastern Tennessee, Virginia, and Maryland.

XTRA Lease has promoted Kim Franjesh to head its Nashville TN branch location. Franjesh joined XTRA Lease in 2001 as a sales representative in Nashville. The company has selected Matthew W Geekie as general counsel and secretary for the company. He joins the company after serving the past five years as assistant general counsel for the Emerson Process Management Group of Emerson Electric Co.

Spray Control Systems Inc has hired Jason Johnson, a University of Minnesota-Duluth graduate, for a full-time sales/product specialist position.

TSE Brakes Inc has added Roger McEvoy as marketing manager, and he will be based at the firm's Fresno CA headquarters. He most recently was in sales and marketing with the Volvo Group.

Holland USA, a subsidiary of The Holland Group Inc, has announced that John Marquette has been named OEM account manager for its truck sales team. He most recently was national fleet accounts manager.

McLeod Software Inc has appointed Tom Madison regional sales manager, Pacific Northwest territory. He most recently built Scatterpoint, a consulting business that combined computer and network security fields.

The OEM Truck Business Unit of Webb Wheel Products Inc has hired Philip J Caplan as OEM account executive. He comes from SKF Automotive Business Unit, where he most recently was corporate purchasing manager. Webb also appointed Mike Self director of manufacturing, Jeremy Zills engineering manager, and Dwayne Smith controller.

Karl Vandermyde, formerly manager of sales and product support — East, has been appointed Caterpillar's manager of OEM sales. Michael D Dutton, district manager for Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EAME) residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has assumed Vandermyde's former job.
