Claude Hardy has joined the Holland Group Inc as an OEM account executive for motor home, bus, and fire apparatus customers. He most recently was senior account manager with Magna Donnelly. Leif Haugen has accepted the position of truck OEM account executive for the Holland USA division. He most recently served with Magna Donnelly as senior account manager for two automotive OEMs. Dan Millar is the new director of United States regional sales for the Holland Group. Since rejoining Holland in May 2002, he has been director of global marketing services and aftermarket. Holland has named Ken Griswold director — global marketing services and aftermarket, effective immediately. He has served Holland as product manager, SBU director, and director of business development.
Tim Gilbert has joined Peterson Manufacturing as corporate director of heavy-duty fleet and trailer OEM sales, a newly expanded position at the company. He was formerly with Reyco Granning.
Eric Smith has joined Ridewell Suspensions as North Central regional sales manager. He previously was a regional sales manager for Hutchens Industries Inc.
Carlisle Motion Control Industries has appointed Jeff Pond regional sales manager responsible for the northeastern United States. He previously held sales and management positions at Connecticut Driveshaft, a Carlisle distributor that has since been acquired by Fleetpride. Carlisle has promoted George Miller from regional sales manager to manager of fleet sales.
Ruan has added to its staff corporate counsel Troy DeJoode, who will be based in its Des Moines IA office. He comes to the firm from Cedar Falls Utilities, where he most recently was general counsel and director of employee services. Ruan also has added Dana Lentz as vice-president of sales. Lentz, who will be based in the Atlanta GA office, most recently served with Nextel as director of transportation and distribution.
The OEM Business Unit of Webb Wheel Products Inc has recently expanded the customer service department at its Tell City IN facility. Kristen Cox and Michele Cassidy have joined the company as customer service representatives.
Rick Howell was named general manager of Marathon Brake Systems. He began working with Marathon in 2003, when he formed the company Howell & Associates Inc after retiring from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
