Navistar International Corp's president and chief operating officer, Daniel C Ustian, has been elected chief executive officer, effective Feb 19, 2003, after the company's annual meeting. He will succeed John R Horne, who will continue to serve as chairman of the board. Robert C Lannert will continue as vice-chairman of the board of directors and chief financial officer. The role of chief operating officer will not be filled.

Mulox Inc has appointed Max Holt regional sales representative for the Northeast Region, based in Meadville PA. He has six years' experience with a regional distributor/supplier marketing plastic and steel industrial packaging to the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and mineral industries.

Florida Rock Industries Inc's board of directors has elected Scott L McCaleb vice-president-corporate development. Since joining the company in 1994, he has served as president of the Arundel Corp, a division of Florida Rock Industries, as well as president of Florida Rock's Georgia Division of the Aggregates Group.

Cummins Inc has named Jean Blackwell, vice-president-Cummins Business Services, as chief financial officer and chief of staff. Tom Linebarger, vice-president and CFO, will become president of the Cummins Power Generation Business, succeeding Jack K Edwards, who will retire in June after a 30-year career with the company. Susan K Carter, Cummins vice-president and controller, will become vice-president of finance and chief accounting officer.

David B Templeton has assumed duties as vice-president of human resources for Hendrickson International in Woodridge IL. He was previously with Hendrickson International Trailer Suspension Systems in Canton OH, where he served as director of human resources.

Floyd Peacock Co Inc has added Ben Kelley, former owner of the Kelton Co, to its organization. He brings 33 years of industry experience with expertise in interior tank cleaning systems.

Tuthill Transport Technologies has named Mike Cole suspension system sales specialist. His experience includes more than 12 years serving the heavy-duty truck and trailer industry. Although Cole plans to maintain his residence in the Minneapolis MN area, he will have an office at the Brookston IN facility.

TydenBrammall has named Todd Schmutzler manufacturing engineering manager in charge of the company's Root Cause Analysis Program. He previously held senior manufacturing engineering positions with American Highway Technologies and Handy & Harman Automotive.

Elite International Transportation Inc has appointed Michel Loutchaninoff sales manager. He was most recently sales manager for NRS/Interflow TCS in Houston TX.
