Werts Welding & Tank Service has hired Larry Hoctel to be branch manager at the new Des Moines IA location. He previously served 32 years with the Fruehauf

Werts Welding & Tank Service has hired Larry Hoctel to be branch manager at the new Des Moines IA location. He previously served 32 years with the Fruehauf organization. Fred Cross, who has 27 years of bulk industry experience, has been named service manager for Werts' parts and repair facility in Birmingham AL. Brian Maw has been hired as an outside salesman for Werts' Tampa FL store. A transplanted Canadian, he most recently was with Dixon Valve Co.

Heil Trailer International has added James Cherry to its technical services team as a field service/product specialist. He is transferring from Heil's Athens TN facility, where he was quality manager.

Dana Corp's Commercial Vehicle Systems business group has appointed Frank Sheehan vice-president — global sales, marketing, and product planning. He previously served as CVS vice-president — sales and marketing, North America.

Gary Ciapetta, formerly director of marketing for Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems in Canton OH, has been named director of national accounts for Hendrickson International, a newly created position. Joining him are two national account managers: Kevin M Motz and Bruce Seay. Motz previously was vocational product manager for Hendrickson and brand analyst for Chevrolet Motor Division. Seay most recently concentrated on component sales to major fleets.

Republic Pneumatics Inc appointed Ashley Bunch sales manager for Indiana and northwestern Ohio, based at the Indianapolis IN sales office. Bunch previously was hydraulic market manager for Syltone — Drum Industries, and Applied Energy Co in Dallas TX. Jerry Strange has been named Republic's sales manager in western Kentucky, southwestern Indiana, and eastern Illinois and will be headquartered in Evansville IN. He was most recently with Hydro-Power in Terre Haute IN. Janet White is the new customer service specialist for Republic's Louisville KY headquarters. She was formerly with Purina Mills Inc as a bulk feed customer service specialist.

Clean Harbors Inc has appointed Eugene A Cookson president of the company's recently created Site Services Group. He most recently served as chief operating officer of Clean Harbors Environmental Services Inc.

The Holland Group has named Pat McGurk director of trailer suspension systems. He most recently was director of coupler products. David Roe has been promoted from engineering manager/group leader for coupler products to director — coupler/kingpin products. Dan Millar will direct Holl-and's global aftermarket while remaining director of global marketing services. Bill Hicks, the new Trailer Suspension Systems Engineering Group leader, most recently served as Truck Suspension Product Group lead engineer. Mark Thomas, previously a forecast demand analyst, has been appointed Holland's market intelligence analyst. Most recently senior product engineer, Mark Molitor has been named Engineering Group leader for the Truck and Bus Suspension Product Group. John Cook has been appointed a marketing project manager based at Holland's facility in Warrenton MO. He previously was a marketing specialist for landing gear.
