Pump Solutions Group (PSG), a business unit within Dover Corporation, has named Chris Distaso director of engineering for PSG's Grand Terrace CA facility.

Pump Solutions Group (PSG), a business unit within Dover Corporation, has named Chris Distaso director of engineering for PSG's Grand Terrace CA facility. He also will be responsible for supervision and management of the research and development function. Distaso has more than 14 years of experience in the pump industry, including most recently as the engineering manager for Wilden Pump & Engineering. PSG also has named Greg Duncan senior director of business development. He has more than 21 years of experience in the pump industry, including most recently as the director of engineering and technical support for Wilden Pump & Engineering.

PetroClear, a unit of FRAM Filtration, has appointed John Foley business director of industrial filtration and director of international business development. Most recently, he served as senior account executive at Graphic Packaging for the label business.

Joe Carlier has been promoted to senior vice-president, global sales of Penske Logistics from his previous role as vice-president of sales in the company's Central region. Carlier will be based at company headquarters in Reading PA. Jeffery A Bullard now serves as senior vice-president of operations in the company's Central region, and will be based at the office in Warren MI. He previously was with the private equity firm Transportation Resource Partners (TRP), serving as chief executive officer of Versant Supply Chain.

Haldex AB has appointed Per-Erik Kronqvist as senior vice-president, research and development and member of Haldex Group management. Paul Bale, senior vice-president, business development and acting head of research and development, will leave Haldex on his own initiative. Kronqvist, who will assume his new position March 1, currently is vice-president, research and development, Europe and Brazil.

Pressure Systems International (PSI) has hired Jonathan Gravell as a sales and marketing specialist. He recently concluded an 18-week apprentice program learning all aspects of PSI's heavy-duty business. Before joining the company, he owned a residential home construction business. James Sharkey has joined PSI as director of strategic initiatives. Sharkey has a background in the commercial vehicle industry and most recently was president of AXN Heavy Duty.

Phillips Industries has promoted David Phillips to vice-president-new business development and added Dennis Damman as national fleet sales manager. Phillips has worked for the company for 16 years, most recently as general manager of the Commercial Vehicle Products Division. Damman joins the firm after a 20-year career in the commercial vehicle industry, most recently as vice-president of engineering and operations for Direct Chassis Inc.

After 23 years as southeastern regional sales manager at Ridewell Suspensions, Mike Webb is retiring. He began his career in sales at Williams Air Controls and has logged more than 40 years in the transportation industry. Succeeding Webb is Ted Siegle, who comes to Ridewell with more than 13 years of industry experience. Siegle served most recently as regional sales manager of the North Central Region for Watson & Chalin Manufacturing.

Tony Truelove has been appointed marketing manager for Eaton Corp's North America Truck operations. Based in Galesburg MI, he reports to Tom Nellenbach, director of marketing and communications for Eaton's Vehicle Group. Truelove previously spent more than 20 years at General Motors, most recently as the marketing manager for Chevrolet's Silverado and Colorado pickup trucks.

Cummins Inc announced that Jennifer Rumsey has been named vice-president-engineering for heavy-, medium-, and light-duty products. She has led Cummins Heavy Duty Engineering since 2010, and from 2007 to 2009 she worked in Midrange Engineering as a technical project leader.

Kevin M Phillips has joined the law firm of Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary in its Chicago IL office. He is a member of the International Warehouse Logistics Association, where he serves as claims and litigation counsel. Phillips also is a member of the Warehouse Education Research Council and the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses.

Ryder System Inc announced that Thomas F Pettit has joined the Supply Chain Solutions business segment as senior vice-president and general manager. He succeeds Thomas Jones, who has retired after a 24-year career with the company. For the past five years, Pettit served as vice-president of global operations and supply chain for Pentair Ltd.
