ArvinMeritor Inc's board of directors has named Charles G “Chip” McClure chairman, chief executive officer, and president, effective Aug 9, 2004. McClure, who had been president, CEO, and a member of the board of directors of Federal-Mogul Corp, succeeds Larry Yost, who is retiring from Arvin-Meritor.

Heil Trailer International has hired Brian Mueller as vice-president — sales and marketing. He most recently served with Eaton Aerospace in Sarasota FL as director of new business development. In his new role, Mueller will be based at Heil's corporate headquarters in Chattanooga TN.

Tank Service Inc has added Erick Garcia to its staff as vice-president of sales. He has worked for Hoover Materials Handling Group Inc and EXSIF Worldwide Inc in both domestic and international positions.

Robert Brooks, vice-president of sales at Qualawash, has resigned to accept a position with Gardner Denver. He will be responsible for Gardner Denver's mobile products in the Southeast.

Titan Industries has appointed Web Mitchell territory sales manager for the Southeast region, including Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. He has a wealth of knowledge in polymers and elastomers and an extensive background in distribution and manufacturing.

International Truck and Engine Corp has appointed Thomas Baughman vice-president and general manager of the company's heavy-vehicle center. He replaces Jordan Feiger, who has accepted a new position within the company. Baughman most recently served as executive director of product development for Ford's Tough Truck Vehicle cluster.

Arrow Truck Sales Inc has named Carl Heikel as its new president and chief executive officer, effective Aug 1, 2004. He succeeds Ed Justis, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Heikel served most recently as managing director of Volvo Trucks de Mexico.

Eaton Corp has named James W McGill vice-president — Eaton Business System. He replaces Thomas S Gross, who was named vice-president — power quality solutions operations in the company's electrical business. McGill, who will be based at company headquarters in Cleveland OH, most recently served as vice-president and general manager for Eaton's Industrial Controls Division in Milwaukee WI.
