Heil Trailer International has promoted Jon Coleman from the Technical Services Department in Chattanooga TN to the new position of Northwest regional sales manager. He has been with the company for five years, working at the Athens TN facility and in Chattanooga as a customer service expert.
Alan Mayne has been named general manager of manufacturing operations for Freightliner LLC and will be based at its Portland OR headquarters. He comes from another North American truck manufacturer, where he spent the past 17 years in plant management and business unit operations.
Mike Roberts joins Semo Tank/Baker Equipment Co and its affiliates, Acro Trailer Co, Gator Tank Trailer, and Rogersville Tank Repair. Formerly with Drum Emco Wheaton, he will be working from Semo's home base in Perryville MO.
Detroit Diesel Corp has named Jeff Wallis senior vice-president — parts, service, and customer support. He most recently was vice-president — parts sales and marketing. Glenn Lysinger, who most recently served as vice-president — customer assurance, will become chief quality officer.
The Protectoseal Co has named John B Bergeron president. He previously served in executive management positions with American Meter Co, Lord Corp, and FMC Corp.
The E J Brooks Co has promoted Phil Whitley from national sales manager to corporate vice-president — sales and marketing. David Hawking has been named national sales manager of the Security Products Group. He had previously served as team leader for the western states. Named assistant national sales manager is Al Benkert, who most recently was senior district sales manager for the company's mid-Atlantic region.
