Jonathan D Rich, formerly president of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co's Chemical Division, has been named president of its North American Tire business. He succeeds John C Polhemus, who is retiring after 33 years with the company. Joseph Copeland has been named to succeed Rich as president of the Chemical Division. Copeland previously served as director of finance for both the Engineered Products and Chemical divisions of Goodyear.
Brenner Tank LLC has added two new regional sales managers. Covering the West from a Phoenix AZ base is David A Morice, who has been based in Phoenix, Greensboro NC, Chicago IL, Indianapolis IN, and Wausau WI. Relocating to Texas to cover a four-state area is G William “Bill” Hubbartt, formerly a Chicago-area district sales manager and operations director for two major truck manufacturers.
Suzanne Taleghani has been named vice-president — purchasing and logistics for Ashland Inc. She replaces J Thomas King, who will retire in spring 2003. Taleghani's most recent assignment was with The Gillette Co, where she was a vice-president managing global procurement.
Wayne Krzysiak, vice-president and general manager — parts operations for International Truck and Engine Corp, has been named vice-president — sales and distribution worldwide. He succeeds Steve Koch, who has become dealer principal of City International Truck Inc in Chicago IL. Jack Allen, vice-president and general manager of Blue Diamond Truck Co, has been named vice-president and general manager — parts operations. Mark Stasell, vice-president of product development, has been named vice-president and general manager of Blue Diamond Truck Co. Phil Christman, vice-president — core engineering and product support, succeeds Stasell.
Titan Industries has named Ted Henry territory sales manager for Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and western New York. He previously served in operations, inside sales, and as an outside sales executive for Summers Rubber Co.
Philip Services Corp has appointed Mac Wade national sales manager for its Intermediate Bulk Container business. He previously served with GNI in Houston TX and was responsible for sales.
The Holland Group has appointed Doug Dorn, a five-year employee, as product marketing manager. Holland USA has named Rob Eldridge national fleet accounts manager. He has 20-plus years of experience in sales and marketing for truck and trailer manufacturers.
Transportation Technologies Industries Inc has appointed Jonathan R Young senior account manager representing all TTI business units at Paccar. He most recently served with Jacobsen and Mosher, where he represented multiple Paccar suppliers. TTI has named Adnan Hiros senior account engineering manager. Hiros previously served as engineering manager — research and development at the Imperial Group, a business unit of TTI in Decatur TX.
Intra Technologies has hired Randy Walker as regional sales manager based in Dallas TX. Most recently, he was vice-president of marketing for American Trucksource, a truck dealership network.
