MSA Instrument Division's Universal Pump Probe is now offered for the Solaris Multigas Detector. The optional powered sampling pump is contained within the sampling probe accessory, and can be used with up to 50 feet of tubing for remote sampling applications.

This high-efficiency pump features MSA's patented Pulse Check technology, which eliminates the need for a separate pump power supply and also ensures proper pump function. The Universal Pump Probe includes a filtering system to keep out liquid and particulate contaminants. This accessory is also UL-approved for use in most hazardous locations; is recognized by NRTL as intrinsically safe to Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D; and also is certified compliant with ISO 9001 provisions.

The Solaris Multigas Detector performs simultaneous monitoring of up to four gases, and the Universal Pump Probe allows the user to perform remote sampling with the detector. Other features include both audible and visual alarms for low-flow and low-battery warnings, plus a battery run time (using two AA batteries) of 22 hours.
