Quality Carriers LLC, the primary transportation subsidiary of Quality Distribution Inc, Tampa FL, has announced that an affiliate contract agreement has been executed with Erickson Transport Corp, Springfield MO.
“We are excited to have both Jim and Jeff Erickson, who represent the third generation of the Erickson family, involved in bulk liquid transportation, representing Quality Carriers,” says Randy Sheeler Sr, Quality Carriers vice-president, operations.
Erickson plans to operate 55 company-owned tractors and eight owner-operators throughout its terminal network, and will operate from corporate offices in Springfield MO with satellite facilities in Charlotte NC, Pasadena TX, and Joliet IL.
In March, Quality Carriers announced it had added Eaton's Trucking Service, Johnstown NY, to its affiliate partner program. The Eaton affiliate added nine tractors and drivers to Quality Carriers with expectations to double that number during the first year, according to Quality Carriers information.
