GS Metals introduces its new interactive product selector. This multifaceted CD allows the user to select the right gratings product for the application. All the user has to know is the type of application, and be able to provide three of these four items: width, span, load, and deflection. The selector will offer the best three gratings choices by part number for the application. The selector CD will build an appropriate CSI document for the application, as well as creating a bill of materials, which can be e-mailed or faxed for quote follow-up.
The CD contains a library of GS Metals gratings product data. Topics include: what is considered industrial and heavy industrial; what is considered light and heavy commercial, how to choose a product type, and what is concentrated and uniform loading. The selector also has a web library, which duplicates GS Metals' www.gripstrut.com web site.
