The PrePass pre-clearance system for truckers was chosen as the top choice and most requested benefit 66% of the time in a survey of more than a thousand randomly selected drivers working for truckload carriers with at least 250 tractors.

The National Survey of Driver Wages asked drivers to identify services they were currently using, had used in the past, or services they want to use. The independent survey was taken in December 2003.

“This survey emphasizes what we are also seeing increasing enrollment of PrePass. With more than 250,000 users and growing, drivers recognize the positive impact to the bottom line that this service adds to each trip they make,” said Dick Landis, president and chief executive officer of Heavy Vehicle Electronic License Plate (HELP) Inc, which offers PrePass.
