Plantation Pipe Line Co, Houston TX, reports that electricity has been restored to its pump station in Collins MS, giving Plantation the capability to operate at approximately 95 percent of its average daily throughput of about 620,000 barrels.

The company will resume 100 percent capacity when electricity is restored at two smaller pump stations.

Plantation has been transporting about 25 percent of its daily volumes since August 30, following successful efforts to bypass the Collins facility.

Assessment teams earlier confirmed that the Collins pump station, along with the rest of the Plantation system, suffered no damage as a result of Hurricane Katrina.
