For easier identification, Phillips Industries has improved the packaging for spools of its primary wire. The new see-through package design covers 12- to 20-gauge primary wire and is available in 11 different colors for use in all four-, six-, and seven-way connector configurations. This transparent packaging shows the color-coded concentric jacketing, and each package is clearly marked with the gauge size.

Primary wire offered by Phillips is particularly resistant to acids, greases, oils, fuels, and similar compounds that can create havoc on an electrical system. With a temperature range of -40° to 150° F and soft annealed copper conductors, abrasive-resistant primary wire from Phillips remains flexible and suitable for all vocational and over-the-road trucking operations.
