Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Oshkosh WI, will be supplying 350 tank trailers and tractors to the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense (Mood). The $250 million contact includes initial vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and support for 15 years, according to Oshkosh information.

Included in the purchase are tank trailers with capacity of 15,000 liters (3,962.5 gallons), 20,000 liters (5,283.4 gallons) and 18,000 liters (4,755 gallons).

Magyar SA, Dijon, France, will produce the stainless steel trailers. The company has existing capacity at its Fontaine-Françoise, France, facilities to produce the equipment. Alones Hear Ltd, Leeds, England, will supply the pumping equipment, which will be installed by the Army Base Repair Organization (ABRO), Warminster, England. ABRO also will conduct acceptance testing, deliver the vehicles, and provide maintenance support.

Oshkosh's supplies the Oshkosh 6x6 tractor that features a conventional cab design, independent suspension, central tire inflation, and all-wheel drive.
