    Thomas Joel “Joe” Barnes of Pearland TX, a 33-year employee of Service Transport Co, most recently as vice-president of safety and health, died June 29, 2003, at the University of Texas M D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston TX, after a brief bout with leukemia.
