During the recent annual conference of the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) in Nashville TN, Matt Peterson, manager of national account lease sales for Mack Trucks Inc, was recognized for dedication and leadership during his two-year term as chairman of the NPTC board.

A Naperville IL resident, Peterson was the first supplier member to serve as chairman of the NPTC board in the organization's 67-year history. During his term, awareness of driver safety in heavy-duty trucks was raised through the organization's promotion of high-visibility seatbelts. NPTC's financial performance also improved, membership increased, and a new five-year strategic plan was developed.
