Storage tank rules, maintenance, and other industry-related issues will headline the National Institute for Storage Tank Management annual conference June 4-6 in Orlando, Florida, at the Rose Plaza Hotel.

Among the presenters during the Monday session is Gene Milunec of ExxonMobil, who will discuss risk-based assessments of aboveground storage tank facilities. Also on the program is Steve Meier of Tank Industry Consultants, who will review the impact of new seismic rules on tanks.

Steve Braune of AEC Engineering Inc, has chosen a topic on American Petroleum Institute (API) 653 revisions as they are related to internal inspections. Making tank overfill protection a reality is the subject of Phil Myers of Chevron.

Ronald Goodman of API will give an update on API storage tank standards.

Among Tuesday's speakers is Dean Flessas of Corrpro Companies Inc. He will provide information on new technologies for tank corrosion control.

Wednesday's lineup includes Mike O'Donoghue of ICI Devoe Coatings, who will discuss case studies of internal secondary containment. Gene Silverman of ARD Environmental In Tank Services Inc will discuss robotic inspections. Tank cleaning and waste disposal issues will be presented by Rob Adams of allied Energy Corporation.
