A new company, Agfa NDT Inc, has been formed to offer non-destructive testing (NDT) services. The Agfa Gevaert Group of Belgium embarked on a program several years ago to become the leading supplier of NDT systems. This led to acquisition of companies that were leaders in their respective NDT fields to complement Agfa's existing Structurix Film Systems brand.
These companies represented three major technologies in NDT and have been integrated in North America as Agfa NDT Inc. Companies, acquisition dates, and technologies acquired by Agfa Gevaert Group, which are now part of the new company, are:
