Mulox offers several lines of flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) suitable for handling dry hazardous materials. These containers can be made to meet Department of Transportation and United Nations performance standards for transporting regulated hazardous materials.

Many options are available, and various capacities, closure, and inlet/outlet configurations are offered. Capacities range to 4,000 pounds with a 5:1 safety factor. The ability to coordinate FIBC capacity with batch size eliminates the need to consolidate and handle remainders unnecessarily. Mulox FIBCs are designed for use with over-the-road, rail, and sea transport with no special handling equipment.

Fabric is 6.5- or 8-ounce polypropylene. Fabric coatings and polyethylene liners add further defense against spillage and exposure. Liners are adhered to the bag on all four sides and the bottom to keep them in place during filling or discharge. Single-use designs are available where re-use is prohibited.

Mulox Safemaster anti-static, conductive bags are ideal for transporting nonconductive powders or pellets that tend to build up considerable static charge on both containers and handling equipment during filling or emptying. For more details, contact Mulox, 7980 Industrial Hwy, Macon GA 31216.
