The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced that Minnesota border ports with Canada began June 8 testing electronic manifests through the ACE Truck Manifest System, according to a notice published in the Federal Register June 11.

The Minnesota ports include Grand Portage, Lancaster, Pinecreek, International Falls, Roseau, Baudette, and Warroad. Carriers and other eligible parties are required to transmit advance electronic cargo information to CBP through a CBP-approved electronic data interchange. The remaining ports at which the mandatory use of ACE will be phased in include ports in Maine and Alaska.
